Reported to be the favorite cookie of Americans, a chocolate chip cookie’s taste and texture varies by recipe. The fork in the road for us was whether to stay with a tried and true chocolate chip cookie recipe or create a whole new original recipe. We took the latter path, and crafted a cookie that embraces the wholesome goodness of which thoughts of Montana conjure. And the Monster Munchies Cookie was born - All natural and no preservatives.

The raisins we use are a natural preservative. The organic acids in raisins function as preservatives, flavor enhancers, and contribute to the cookie's flavor profile. Naturally occurring propionic acids act as shelf-life extension agents thereby increasing shelf life. Best of all, they're good for you!
