We take great care in producing our all-natural cookies. "Meet me in the middle" is one of our new mottos. Why? Because although we are not a bowl of oatmeal we aren't a candy bar filled with empty calories either. Our cookies are made with more than 25% whole grain oats so if you are going to have a cookie, have a Montana Monster Munchies Cookie!

More than just what meets the eye
There is more to food than just calories. As it appeared in the December 2005 edition of Prevention Magazine, “a slice of multigrain bread has more calories than two chocolate chip cookies”. An October 31, 2005 AP article highlighted the positive buzz associated with Keebler and Nabisco Right Bites and Calorie Packs respectively. Each of those products at .74 ounces are 100 calories a serving or 135.1 calories per ounce. Our cookie at 2.75 ounces is 354 calories or 128.7 calories per ounce. Very comparable!

Trans Fat Free Snack
Many snack foods on the market contain trans- fatty acids or snacks with “hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated oils”. Trans-fatty acids in hydrogenated fats and their effect on blood cholesterol levels have raised concern over consumer health. In January 2006, the FDA made it mandatory that food manufacturers disclose amounts of trans-fatty acids on food labels so consumers can be more aware of what they are purchasing and consuming. Rest easy…we have none!

Always an All Natural Food
